The wait is over and we are pretty chuffed. “The South African Songbook Album,” a collaborative work by rock star Kurt Darren & Soweto Gospel Choir is here, bearing some delicate numbers you wanna vibe with right away.

This compilation was long in the making. Now that it is here, it appears the wait has been worth it. Really worth it. This 13 track compilation, which begins with “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and ends with “Gebed,” plays for exactly 52 minutes.

Except for 3 three songs, “Loslapppie” (track 8), “Kinders van die wind” (track 11) and “Gebed” (track 13), which had only Kurt Darren, the rest were joint efforts between the rock king and the famous choir.
