In “Eyes” you have an intriguing number. One can’t fault Kwesta’s choice of Umzulu Phaqa. The pair actually made great collaborators. The result of their linking up is worth a place on a play list.
By the way, “Eyes” is taken from Kwesta’s recently released “g.o.d GULUVA” album, a project which in no way makes him a god but amplifies his position as a South African rapper of note.
“g.o.d GULUVA” was intensely anticipated. Now that it is here, one might say the wait was well worth it. Kwesta, without saying it, actually tells the world that he belongs to Mzansi’s rap aristocracy.
