Jamaican-American group Major Lazer goes “Hands Up” in a new song featuring Moonchild Sanelly and Morena Leraba
Made up of Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums, Major Lazer lives up to its adopted stage name in the sense that it is a major voice in American group circles.
In its latest drop, the group asserts itself as one of the most engaging out there. The listener readily hands up – surrenders – to this song, which is charming on many levels. To listen to the song is to want to experience it all over again.
Famous for her electrifying performances, Moonchild Sanelly evinces similar charm on this song, and one cannot but applaud.
The other guest artiste, Morena Leraba, is not only a musician but a shepherd as well. He combines both roles beautifully. But his fame rests in his music. He’s a sterling addition to the cast in that, like Major Lazer, he’s into electronic music as well.
