It seemed like yesterday when Bandile and Banele started their amapiano adventure. But it’s been years. And yes, it was never easy at the outset. First, the brothers were randomly dismissed as imitators of Kabza De Small.
Ordinarily, such mordant jabs would have silenced the faint of heart., but they continued on their piano adventures. The years have elapsed. And here they are today: one of the most resonant collectives in South Africa’s amapiano universe.
“Amapiano Balcony Mix Live at Cavo in Dubai l S5 l EP 4” is one of many piano mixes they have shared since they made the decision to quit hip hop music for piano. It’s also a mix worth the playtime. So, you should have no trouble electing to listen to it.
We wouldn’t call this the best mix from the brothers yet. But it’s a lyrical winner all the same and worth a place on a playlist. So go ahead and explore the mix for all it’s worth. Come on!
