South African boy band Major League returns with “Piano City (S1 EP4),” a work featuring compatriot Boohle.
It’s been a good run this year for twin brothers Bandile and Banele, who are collectively known as Major League DJz. The pandemic has apparently not diluted their creative energy. From Nigeria to the United Kingdom, the brothers are still sharing the amapiano message.
Those who are no conversant with them may not realize they were actually hip-hop artists who switched to amapiano halfway, and that their early works were initially severely criticized.
The brothers have emerged stronger and more entertaining and the result I there to see. They have been co-opting other artists for their amapiano sessions, so it is not surprising they should pick Boohle this time.
She’s a splendid complement on “Piano City (S1 EP4)” and one cannot but love her performance. She blended beautifully with the brothers and they all created a musical experience worth remembering. You should love it.
