Whether by coincidence or a quirk of fate, almost every Mzansi number titled “Umlilo” is a hit with the public. Is the latest drop from MalumNator going to be a hit as well? We can’t tell, but we confirm it’s a charming number, anyway.
“Umlilo” is one of one of several songs in MalumNator’s latest project, an album titled “Moya Wam.” That project features several artistes, but the De Mthuda and Ntokzin had the most feature spots – not surprisingly because the two of them are almost a team these days.
“Umlilo” is one of the soulful numbers in that body of work – a song with so much sauce you just have to return to it over and over. No regrets, though. You’re in great company. The song leaves no room for boredom, and you should have no qualms electing to find a place for it on your playlist.
