- South African boy band Mapara A Jazz debuts a new body of work entitled “John Vuli Gate,” which you can stream right here on UbeToo.”John Vuli Gate” is a 16-track dance compilation that plays for exactly one hour and twenty five minutes. The body of work popped on digital platforms today 13 November 2020. Mapara A Jazz released a single entitled “John Vuli Gate” in collaboration with Ntosh Gazi and Colano back in August. The song began trending two months later, in October, opening avenues for national visibility for the duo. It even spawned a dance challenge which has since gone global.
In electing to release an album dubbed “John Vuli Gate,” the boy band Mapara A Jazz appears determined to milk their recently found fame for even larger musical epaulettes. In this they just might succeed.
