Amapiano producers Mas Musiq and Daliwonga link up for a scorcher of a tune dubbed “Gangnam Style,” featuring DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small. It’s a meeting of strong amapiano forces, and one cannot question the potency of what has been released.
The two lead singers, Mas Musiq and Daliwonga, are among South Africa’s most consistent producers of the piano genre, and they did pretty well as a team here. Their decision to co-opt DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small is not something we think can be faulted.
They brought two “kings” into the equation, and the result is there for all to see — a song worth the playtime and a place on a playlist.
“Gangnam Style” sounds like a number that would keep Manu busy on the dance floor this weekend and even beyond. Now, that’s what a great jam is all about. Can you beat that?
