Mobi Dixon recently released a body of work that some music lovers would rather call a blessing to the afro tech universe. While we wouldn’t want to be dragged into that verdict, we can tell you for free that we actually like what he’s put together in association with his Mzansi compatriots.
One of the guest artists, Naakmusiq, is a man of many parts — a singer, an actor, and, well, a boxer. Not a pro pugilist, but still a fighter. His match against Cassper Nyovest, in what’s dubbed Celebrity Boxing match, is still a subject of conversation in the Rainbow Nation.
Candy Man is no man of the gloves, but he serves great candy in this song. Embrace it.
