How can a heartbreak song sound so good? Indiana-raised artist, Omar Apollo is not new to making music exactly the way it appeals to him. The talented singer has been on the move since he made his debut to the music scene.
It is nice to see how talented he is, writing his own music and taking part in its production. When you listen to him, it is obvious that his songs are original and reflect exactly how he feels. The singer in a recent interview, opened up on his music being all about true feelings.
His new song is titled “Imagine U”, and he sings over a beat co-produced by Kenny Beats. The song is all about heartbreak but still have such a great vibe to it that you fall in love on the first listen. Fans will certainly dig this one. About the song he said,
“I’m all about the feeling when it comes to music. The lyrics and melody came to me so naturally and I feel like free thinking is what’s missing in a lot of music nowadays. There’s a guitar part I played that’s pitched up as soon as the song starts that I love and when I first made the song that part was all I had. I was obsessed with it—I kept playing it on loop cause it felt so good to me. I was listening to a lot of Daft Punk at the time so I was really inspired by those themes.”
