Mpura, Killer Kau, TD, Thando Tot and Khanya Hadebe perished recently in a car while heading to perform at a gig. Their deaths tossed the amapiano universe into a state of mourning.
The boys might be gone, but they were clealy loved and apparently still fresh in the memories of those who loved them and those whose lives they touched one way or the other. This much should be obvious from the tribute song in review.
Pabi Cooper is but one of several artistes who have memorialized the dead musicians. South African boy band Major League had done the same. Specifically, the band had paid tribute to Mpura while treating fans to a new “Balcony Mix” live in London.
