This Friday is going to be pretty hot. At least South African musicians Robot Boii and Nhlonipho have just made that possible with a new joint number titled “Uxolo.” This tune has Mandz Not Hot, Mac Lopez, and Teakay as guests.
The voices here are not internationally resonant, but they cannot be missed on the local scene. In fact, this number gleams with some of the local “buzzers” in South Africa, voices that cannot be missed on the music scene if you’re truly paying attention.
“Uxolo” is not the finest drop from Robot Boii and Nhlonipho, whether as solo artists or as a team. Still, there’s no denying the appeal of the song they have put together. This number leaves no room for the drab and should appeal to people beyond the orbit of its genre.
