If you have been following South African music, chances are you have heard about the maskanda genre. Not exactly the in-thing in the Rainbow Nation right now, but the genre has its adherents.
And Skweletu is one musician who knows how to snap attention with his maskandi offerings. So for those not conversant with the man and his works, “Ikhaya Lami” should serve as a fine introduction. And we have no qualms asking y’all to check it out.
