Maskandi artist Skweletu returns to UbeToo with a song titled “Inja endlini,” and you can stream it here and now. This is not exactly a solo drop but part of a new project.
“Inja endlini,” which plays for exactly four minutes and 13 seconds, occupies the second spot on the South African musician’s “Isilima Sendawo” album. That project had 13 songs in all, sans guests.
Loosely translated from the Zulu, “Inja endlini” means a “dog in the house.” Of course, there is no canine howling in the verses. But then, you get something instructive from listening to what the songster has put together. So, no qualms.
Maskandi is one of the genres that amapiano appeared to have sidelined. However, Skweletu is still out there, pushing maskandi and sustaining interest in the genre. We are confident you will love his song in review. So go ahead and check it out if you please.
