We can only smile at the knowledge that Monday began on a great note. There are several scorching tunes to vibe with, including “Sohlezi Sisonke.” This song is a creation of the South African producer Soa Mattrix, featuring associate Mashudu.
Call this a local meeting of champions, and you wouldn’t be mistaken. Both are local voices, but they are pretty good in what they do – a reality that should be obvious from their collaborative song in review.
Having two fine musicians on the same number is nothing short of a benediction. From the outset, you not only know you’re heading in for a great time – you get just that. Now, who wouldn’t want that experience? Your guess is as good as wine.
Mashudu is not a voice that has rung much on our orbit, but as should be obvious from this song, that voice cannot be ruled out or silenced.
