It’s a reunion of sorts for South Africa’s Sphectacula and DJ Naves as they link up for a song titled “Bonke,” featuring Nokwazi and Joejo.
Prior to the release of the song, the pair had shared a teaser as well as a cover art on Instagram, thanking radio stations for playing their song even its official release. They had rounded off by urging fans to look forward to the full song.
It is here now and it is actually something electrifying – not surprising given the appeal of the two musicians as collaborators. They have been collaborators for years now, dropping one winning tune after the other.
In “Bonke” they have got another winner – a song to vibe with and share as well. If you care for a wonderful release from the boring, you’ve got to embrace this song from these musos.
Of all the musicians on this song, DJ Naves appears to be the one with the most offices. He’s a medical doctor, a DJ, a fashion designer, a producer… and we’re still counting. Equally charming is that he switches roles effortlessly
