Mzansi Gospel choir Spirit of Praise has come through “Jesu Unamandla Reprise (Spontaneous),” featuring contributions from Sipho Ngwenya and Nothando.
The Mzansi Gospel scene has been well represented on the airwaves this year. Spirit of Praise is inarguably one of the most consistent acts on the scene this year. They have released a long list of songs, including “I Choose Jesus,” featuring Bongi Damans and Benjamin Dube.
They also featured singers Takie Ndou and Dumi Mkokstad in the song “Jesus Is Mine.” The choir recently released “You Remain,” featuring contributions from Women In Praise and Neyi Zimu. All their releases have been well-received.
