Amapiano trio The Lowkeys links up with Shizo for a new song titled “Gugu,” with Swartspeare as the sole guest. You can listen to it right here at UbeToo.
The song popped on the YouTube channel of The Lowkeys yesterday 16 July 2020 to a warm reception from fans. The stats are still climbing.
Made up of three members, The Lowkeys is one of the fine groups serenading us with good music from South Africa’s entertainment universe. It’s hard not to love what the group has put together in the form of “Gugu,” which follows the release of the music video for “Stolen Goods.”
“Gugu” is not a surprise drop in that we had reported earlier of the group’s plans to release the song alongside the guest mentioned at the outset. The song is here, and it is worth hearing, every second of it 6.15 minutes.
By the way, Shizo has only just debuted on this platform. But he gave such a fine performance that we want to hear more from him.
Swartspeare is himself a newbie in our orbit, although he has released a couple of fine numbers previously, as well as worked with other musos in the industry.
