Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has kept the world on lockdown, Tyga has released his brand new single titled ‘Bored in the House.’
His single was inspired by the viral TikTok video of him where he was lip-syncing to Curtis Roach’s original song. Using Roach’s rap, Tyga transformed it into a great hit with lyrics that were drawn from his experience during this quarantine period.
In just a week, Tyga’s 10-second clip titled ‘Bored in the House’ has garnered over 35 million views. Tyga has also teamed up with the ‘Forever’ singer, Chris Brown, for some TikTok videos.
His new single ‘Bored in the House’ comes after his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion ‘Freak’ and his remake of Los de Rio’s hit song ‘Ayy Macarena’ which had over 250 million streams.
Tyga also featured in the music video for Kygo brand new single titled ‘Like It Is’ which features Zara Larsson.
In other news, Tyga recently featured in one of Wiz Khalifa’s newly-released single titled ‘Contact.’ The music video has gained popularity for its colourful visuals as the artists take off in hot balloons. The music video was directed by Damien Sandoval.
In the video, Wiz Khalifa and Tyga spit verses about women, money, and weed as they are accompanied by dancers above and below.
