South African Singer Tyla returns with a song titled “Overdue,” featuring DJ Lag and Kooldrink. It’s a first feature for the DJ, but Kooldrink has worked with Tyla previously.
Tyla might be taken as a fine example of what happens when an artist remains consistent. From goofy Tik Tik video, the songstress has emerged as one of the promising voices in South African music.
She first attracted serious attention with a song titled “Getting Late,”which was also instrumental to her snapping a recording deal with one of the top record labels in the world.
She’s remained consistent, feeding the soul of music lovers with highly relatable numbers.
With her “Overdue” song, she once again makes it clear she’s one artist worth checking out. One cannot for the choices of DJ Lag and Kooldrink in that both were grand spitting their bars.
Of the two features, DJ Lag was in the news recently following his cover feature on the internationally recognized DJ Mag. He’s one of a few South African musicians to be so recognized.
