The South African singer and songwriter Vhudie had charmed many with his “My Yoki Yoki” song when he sang it on the circuit of Idols SA. He didn’t win the reality show – in fact, he was one of the earliest evictions – but the songster has already stamped his name in the consciousness of many across Africa – thanks to the appeal of the song.
At the time, several artistes had indicated interest in working with him, including Nigerian singer and DMW boss Davido.
The excitement of the track may have died down but Vhudie is keen to bring it all back with his “My Yoki Yoki” album. This body of work features 13 tracks in all, with just a single guest: Karabo Mongane
