Blessed are the ambitious, for they will have many talking about them for a long time to come. Well, South African music producer Vico Da Sporo has made an ambitious move with a number dubbed “Osis’ Bey’moto (Amapiano Meets Orchestra Mix),” featuring Nkosazana Daughter.
What he tried to do with this song is not something we think another South African artist had done previously. In a sense, he has opened the door for his compatriots to attempt something just as creative. Gqom meets orchestra wouldn’t be bad. Lol. But it will take near musical and creative genius to achieve that, given the near-violent dissonance between both, But that’s by the way.
Still, we are happy to say that Vico Da Sporo’s “Osis’ Bey’moto (Amapiano Meets Orchestra Mix)” with Nkosazana Daughter is splendid enough to merit a place on a playlist. You’re welcome to find out for yourself, of course—your call.
