South African singer Zandie Khumalo has just given birth again. No, no, no. we do not mean a child as you know it, but new music. Titled “Amatshe” She goes solo on this one.
It may have been a while since Zandie dropped the bars, but from her latest release, it is clear that she’s as musically fresh as ever and that she flowed so well with the muso she elected to work with.
Before she unleashed the number, the songstress had dropped a teaser on her Instagram page, letting fans know when to expect the full song. The complete jam is here now, and one can say confidently that the wait was well worth it.
You heard that right. For an artist who isn’t particularly regular with her releases, this song is a triumph of self, an affirmation of her creative powers and her decision to do things on her own terms and at her own pace.
Zandie Khumalo is a sister to another musician, Kelly Khumalo. While the sisters have rarely seen eye to eye, it is good to know that both are doing well musically.
