Tanzanian songstress Zuchu links up with her South African counterparts Bontle Smith and Tyler ICU for a new song titled “Kitu,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music and entertainment hub.
Zuchu is a new voice on the music scene in the East African country, but she has quickly distinguished herself as a voice to hear, thanks in part to the record label to which she’s signed.
WCB Wasafi has got great media leverage and does a lot to promote its artistes. And Zuchu has been benefiting from that culture. In her “Zitu” jam, she unleashes a soulful voice that’s hard not to love.
The choice of Tyler ICU and Bontle Smith is something we cannot explain. But trust that they actually dropped a number worth hearing. It’s especially exciting because it’s the first time the Tanzanian had collaborated with the two.
And given the beauty of the work together, it’s impossible not to want to see them collaborate again. Well, until another joint, you’re better off embracing the number in review.
