031choppa is still in the spirit to entertain. This much should be obvious from “Ungowami,” a song for which he tapped his pal and fellow South African Aubrey Qwana. Two fine artistes, one fine jam.
The lead artiste is not exactly among the prolific in South Africa. To his credit, his numbers are usually engaging and you can vibe with them anytime without somehow getting stuck in boring bends.
“Ungowami” is part of 031choppa’s recently released “Kwamashu to Ejozi” album, a body of work which is also available here on UbeToo.
Aubrey Qwana joins a fine list of other guests. In the song on which he was co-opted, he shows that he might not have released much of recent, he’s yet a voice worth hearing. He’s pairing with 031choppa merits a nod.
“Ungowami” is not only a pleasure to listen to, it’s easily one of the songs from ‘Choppa that draws in the listener into its world again and again.
