Afrosoul songstress Berita pulls off a fine partnership with Ndlovu Youth Choir, treating fans to a new song entitled “Ungandibulali,” which you can stream here on UbeToo.
In “Ungandibulali,” Berita and Ndlovu Youth Choir take a stand against GBV (gender-based violence), which has been plaguing South Africa for a long time.
The song encourages whoever would listen not to turn a blind eye to cases of GBV but to report it, deplore it and do just about anything that is right to address it. Way to go, if you should ask us.
It is debatable if Berita has been a victim of GBV, but one cannot overlook the vitality of the message she is passing in collaboration with Ndlovu Youth Choir. It is a message for all, in that just about anyone can be a victim of GBV. Just about anyone.
“Ungandibulali” is a song of massive emotional appeal and should find a spot on the tracklist of anyone desirous of seeing an end to GBV. We think highly of this song and recommend you check it out, peeps.
What do you think of the song, though? We encourage you to check it out below and share your thoughts, in the comments.
