Father and son duo BrandySA and Distortion have release a new flamed single and are hoping to touch many hearts.
Thandaza is a very beautiful and soulful amapiano record which will capture the hearts of those it will reach in a special way. The title directly translates to “pray” in English and the song is about that, encouraging people to pray through difficult times and believe in God for better days. Crying and feeling discouraged is never the solution no matter the struggle but asking the Most High for help is, and that’s the message the duo and talented vocalist wanted to get across.
BrandySA and Distortion had the idea of bringing a spiritual and churchy song into the amapiano genre which is mostly known for party songs, and this saw them make a beautiful fuse of gospel music and amapiano. Thulani being a talented songwriter and vocalist really came to the show in an amazing way, giving the spectacularly penned lyrics beautiful emotion as he rides the super melodic beat.
BrandySA and Distortion are no strangers to the South African music streets, they’ve made hits with likes of Joocy, Joejo, Thully Chesah, Thebza M and many more.
