South African disc jockey and producer Da Capo was a guest of DJ Shimza’s Kunye platform and delivered “Kunye Live Mix (EP 6),” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music hub.
He joined a list of other notable musicians who had mixing sessions on the platform. The “Kunye Live Mix” was an initiative of DJ Shimza to illuminate South Africa’s afro-tech music space at a time it appears amapiano is arrogantly taking over.
“Kunye Live Mix (EP 6)” is just the code for Da capo’s set on the platform. As usual, the delivered bars are worth hearing. The lie mix plays for almost an hour. And throughout, you have no encounter with the boring.
