Da Capo isn’t new to the world of mixtapes, nor do we expect him to stop treating us to sterling compilations anytime soon. The self-taught DJ and producer has been prolific of recent, firing at will.
The “Thin Cali Cloud” crooner, in his latest mixtape, once again, brings us the best of him. It is hard not to love “Sweet Mixtape 116,” which is charming on every level, and a robust advert of Da Capo’s gift as a muso.
For those not familiar with the work of this 27-year-old musician whose legal name is Nicodimas Sekheta Mogashoa, “Sweet Mixtape 116” might be a particularly effective introduction. For one, it opens virtually every pore of Da Capo’s creative spirit, leaving chances of sweeping views.
