Dinky Kunene and MDU aka TRP are no newcomers to collaboration, but we admit it’s the first time we’ve shared a song with two of them on if you please. There’s no disputing the artistic synergy between them. It’s like the two artists knew exactly what to do to kill this number. One cannot begrudge their talent.
Dinky Kunene has long characterised himself as one of the memorable voices in South Africa’s amapiano universe. His works with other amapiano artists stand out.
The other lead artiste, Mdu aka TRP, is himself a fine talent and pretty high in demand as a collaborator. With numerous authentic amapiano numbers to his name already, the musician simply cements his status as a creative with “Rest”. It’s difficult not to like what they have put together. Go vibe with it.
