South African disc jockey and producer DJ Cleo is out with a new project dubbed “Eskhaleni Street Music, Vol. 1” album. The songster appeared to have taken his time releasing this. But that’s not a complaint, of course.
On the contrary, it’s actually an interesting compilation and one we think you will have a great time listening to. This body of work begins with a track titled “Tong Po” and ends with another invigorating tune, “Sonke Siya Khona.”
Those numbers gracefully covered tracks like “Balele,” “Sister Bhethina,” “No Compotit,” “One For The Team,” and “Mama Yoh” – and we are still counting.
This might be a piano compilation, but it also glitters with some cosmic, spiritual notes. Now that’s really intriguing. For an artist who might not win a “prolific” epaulette, DJ Cleo surely knows how to have the public train their eyes on him when he drops new music.
