The song is here now and it bangs really hard, DJ Dimplez having shared the cover art on 21 July 2020 and followed it up with teasers from the video shoot. The much anticipated song is titled “DWYM,” an abbreviation for “Dala (Do) What You Must.”
The primary motivation for this song is the coronavirus virus pandemic, and the concomitant lockdown, which has disrupted many industries around the world, including the music industry. With the disruption comes ideas of improvisation and survival.
The musician in the world has to adapt or perish. Well, DJ Dimplez is all for adapting. In his new song, he made it clear that the option before the artiste right now is either give up and stop or DALA WHAT YOU MUST! – “DWYM.”
The songster is on a positive plane, of course, doing what he must and never giving up on his music dreams. By sticking to the decks and turntables, he might end up inspiring others to do the same. Or what do you think?
