DJ Maphorisa & Kabza De Small affirm their powers as music creators with a new body of work titled “Scorpion Kings Live Sun Arena 2.0 EP 2022,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music and entertainment hub.
With just three tracks on the tracklist, this has got to be the shortest project from the duo yet. Yup. The two are known for their lengthy tracks. But here. They took a break from that. Still, they managed to leave no room for doubt that they remain the Scorpion Kings in Mzansi music.
The project bears just three tracks, “Munyu,” “Hamba Haa,” and “Ngithandwa Nguwe,” and a sprinkling of artists, including Nobantu Vilakazi and Young Stunna.
In a sense, “Scorpion Kings Live Sun Arena 2.0 EP 2022” erases the claim out there that DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small had fallen out. The claim gained traction following the release of Kabza De Small’s latest solo album, which didn’t feature Phori.
Both artists are known to work together in almost everything. So DJ Maphorisa’s absence then raised questions.
Well. It appears that’s all in the past now. The duo has put together a winning compilation that should find a comfortable place on the tracklist of many music lovers out there.,
