DJ Maphorisa and Lira link up for a new song titled “Feel Good (Remix),” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music hub.
Lira is much older in the music industry than DJ Maphorisa, but she blends so well with him on this song. The result is a number to vibe with and share as well. You should love it.
Born in 1979, Lerato Moipone Molapo adopted the stage name Lira to carve a musical identity for herself. In the intervening release, she had released several winning tunes, including “Feel Good” (2006).
The charms of that song are apparently too great to ignore. Not surprisingly, more than a decade after the original song, a remix has been released. You might have a hard time deciding which, between the original and the remix, should take first place on your playlist.
But that’s by the way. DJ Maphorisa, who worked with Lira on the remix of the song, is one of the standout figures in South African music. In fact, thanks to his contributions to the amapiano genre, he’s today justly recognized as one of the piano kings.
It’s a weekend and we think no better time to rock “Feel Good (Remix).”
