SA Hip Hop’s DJ Ready D and YoungstaCpt have teamed up with Reebok and released “Back Like I Never Left” to celebrate 50 Years Of Hip Hop.
Hip Hop is a very well-recognized genre here in Mzansi. SA Hip Hop is one of the most talked-about in the SA music scene. Reebok is tapping into that history as they help celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop all over the world. The shoe brand put together “Back Like We Never Left.”
With the event, the brand shines a light on the golden days of hip hop and also celebrates the future of the movement. Hype Magazine reports, “From old-school beatboxing to the rise of trap, Back Like We Never Left is a VIP pass to explore the unforgettable eras that have shaped hip hop over the past 50 years.”
There will be performances by DJ Ready, YoungstaCPT, Nadia Nakai, Blxckie, Rarri, Uncle Partytime, Bravo le Roux, and the Beat Bangers. To crown their efforts, Reebok brought together DJ Ready D and YoungstaCPT, and they created a new track, “Back Like I Never Left,” which was released today.
