Love has a new meaning – or a semblance of a new meaning- in “You’re Mine,” Dvine Brothers’ collaborative song with Lady Zamar. It is available for streaming here on UbeToo.
Lady Zamar’s appearance on the song is especially significant, coming at a time when her rape allegations against trapper Sjava has gained national resonance in Mzansi. One must say she did a fine job with her verse.
It is pretty tempting to contrast her verse with her experience with her relationship with the BET award winner. But we’ll pass. You might do that if you have the time.
One must say the troika on this number delivered their bars wonderfully, making what should be a drab subject interesting to just about any listener out there. We’re sure you’re going to love this number as much as we do. Wouldn’t you rather begin your listening session right away?
By the way, “You’re Mine” is but one of several love songs the Brothers have released. Their oeuvre actually glitters with love jams. Well, you might want to begin exploring them with the song in review.
