The songster had taken the traditional path, sharing the artwork and tracklist of the project, following up with a preorder link, and then unleashing the full project.
Looking back, one can only smile in that although fans had to wait briefly for the project, the wait was worth it. Focalistic has put together a body of work that might resonate with many out there. We love it.
“Sghubu Ses Excellent” album is a 14-track affair, beginning with an eponymous track (which has Madumane, Bongza and MDU aka TRP as guests) and ending with “City On Fire.” The compilation also had the previously released “Ke Star” on the tracklist.

In guests, Focalistic’s “Sghubu Ses Excellent” is one of the richest albums released this year. Of the 14 tracks in the compilation, track 9, “Billion,” produced by Hercules, is the only one without a guest. It looks like Focalistic wanna enjoy his “billion rand” alone. Lol.
At any rate, “Sghubu Ses Excellent” is a sumptuous rap feast that will delight lovers of the genre out there. It also is a testament of the songster’s artistry.
