South African DJ and producer Gaba Cannal has released his much-awaited album, ‘Thetha Nabo Mfundisi’. The title, which translates to “talk to them pastor” in isiXhosa, hints at the depth and cultural richness embedded in the album. This 13-track body of work features a stellar lineup of artists, including Nomfundo Moh, Zano, Mashudu, and Moscow On Keyz, marking a significant milestone in Cannal’s musical journey​.

Cannal, a native of Daveyton, Gauteng, moved to Johannesburg to complete his schooling and delve into music production. His career began as a hip-hop producer and pianist, eventually leading to the launch of his own independent record label, Gaba Cannal Music Pty-Ltd, in 2014. His earlier EP, ‘Abundance’, opened doors in the industry and set the stage for his future successes​.
