GoldMax Presents Sthandwasami With Shwi Nomtekhala

Goldmax of the defunct gqom band Distruction Boyz presents s new song titled “Sthandwasami” in collaboration with fellow muso Shwi Nomtekhala.

“Sthandwasami” is part of Goldmax’s recently released debut album “Music Saved Me.” The album features several interesting voices in South African music except former bandmate Que.

The release of the compilation follows the announcement of the break up of the band to which he belonged. By the way, band mate Que has got an album out as well

“Sthandwasami” is, in a sense, a meeting point of two fine artistes who are both of South African provenance. One might as well add that they share great musical synergy. Listening to them is a great pleasure – as should be apparent presently

Goldmax may have gone solo, he yet remains a voice worth the buzz it is currently getting. And while we mourn the death of Distruction Boyz, we’ll be helping ourselves to the chimes of its two winds. You might want to join us, people.
