It has been said that music is like a physician and that it easily heals the soul. The lead singer is most likely a believer in the same line of though, a reality subtly embedded in his song in review.
Working with Samthing is a triumph for Gomba and for the song itself because of the musical synergy they share, and how the guest artist manages to bring his soulful charms to his beat. The result is something to lap up and tell others about as well. Not bad.
Samthing Soweto is a fine singer and easily one of the memorable voices in South Africa’s amapiano space. Not surprisingly, he has been in high demand as a guest artist. Making it to this number must have been a breeze.
