Jay Jody recently released a mixtape titled “Sunset Stories.” Out of that body of work is a number titled “Fed Up,” featuring Blxckie. A meeting of hip hop aces, this.
Of the two musicians, though, Blxckie appeared to be the most in the news. The songster is only a recent manifestation on the music scene in South Africa but has already managed to command a great following, with many readily conferring him with the toga of South Africa’s hip hop prince. Of course, he has earned his stripes.
Having Jay Jody and Blxckie on the same song is akin to a benediction. The two are pretty cool as a team, and it’s a great delight listening to them together.
The day is young yet, and it wouldn’t hurt to open your soul to the number the pair has put together. You gotta embrace the jam for all it’s worth. Let the music begin.
