Days ago, Joocy asked fans across Mzansi to look forward to his song “Ngithanda Wena” on Friday, stating it is for the romantic at heart.
Friday is here and the song is here. And, true to the claims days ago, “Ngithanda Wena” is actually a love jam – a pleasure to hear. It features West Ink records boss Mampintsha and the Qwabe twins (Q Twins), one-time reality television show Idols SA contestants.
It’s a family affair, this song – but that’s only in the sense that all the artistes, featured and lead, are linked to Afrotainment, a record label owned by DJ Tira. It might be said, too, that the quartet share fine musical synergy.
If you’re looking forward to a splendid weekend with a lover or spouse, your day will be great if you have “Ngithanda Wena” by Joocy, Mampintsha and Q Twins on your playlist for the day. The wait for the song was worth it.
