After advertising herself as “The Voice Of Africa,” Mzansi’s Kelly Khumalo takes a new turn, treating fans to “Love Affair” EP.
Given the songstress’s antecedents, one isn’t surprised she should take on “Love Affair” as the title of her extended play.
“Love Affair” EP is vintage Kelly Khumalo, a voice that will not be shut up, spilling her soul in her songs like she has nothing better to do. One cannot but fall in love with her singing.
“Love Affair” is a 5-track compilation that popped online today 5 February 2021. In all 5 songs, the songstress held court alone. There are no guests whatsoever, but then one cannot fault the outcome of her decision to spit her bars alone.
In “Love Affair” EP she actually has a compilation that will warm the soul of music lovers, whether or not they are into the soul genre. Electing to release another body of work when her “The Voice Of Africa” album is only months old, indicates a fine creative fever.
