Kelvin Momo goes “Linga” in a new song featuring fellow South African Babalwa M. it’s a coming together of two local champs, and they did great as a team.
The lead singer is a disc jockey and producer and one of the notable voices in South Africa’s amapiano streets. He’s also one of the most consistent, too. There’s rarely a month when the songster does not release something.
Well, there’s “Linga” for you, a number that is as exciting as can be and should easily appeal to any music lover with an open mind, whether there are fans of the piano genre or not.
For those who are not conversant with Kelvin Momo’s oeuvre, “Linga” should make a fine introduction. This invigorating bop puts the lead singer on a pedestal that’s hard to miss. It’s time to embrace what he has put together and have a wonderful time. No qualms.
