King Deetoy and Scorpion Kings link up for a new body of work titled “Petle Petle” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo, the go-to place for all things South African music and entertainment.
This is no surprise drop in that DJ Maphorisa and other artistes behind the compilation had informed fans, via the cover art of the project, of what was imminent. The responses had been great – not surprisingly.
Looking back, one might say fans had not wasted in their in the compilation. The finished product is unapologetically charming – a body of work to embrace and tell others about. On the project, King Deetoy and Scorpion Kings features Mhaw Keys who is the only artist enlisted on the EP.
“Petle Petle” EP is the first collaborative tune from the troika this month and a winner on many levels. It’s impossible to listen to this body of work and still complain of lethargy. The EP is so potent it can keep you warm on a cold day.
