“Disgusting Face” is what we have wanted to see – you might say listen to – for some days now after Retha RSA and his pals told us this was imminent. Days earlier, on his Instagram page, Retha RSA had shared the cover art of the song and bid fans look forward to it on 23 October.
Well, the wait is over. Retha and his pals King Grove, K-Zaka & TK, who collaborated on the song, have shown us exactly a “Disgusting Face.” The song, however, is not one that will make you curl your tongue in disgust. Far from it.
It’s the first jame we’ve heard from the quartet this month, and we love the sound of it. It’s a young man’s lyrical stew, this track, for all the artistes on it and pretty young. Already, though, fame has washed over some of their faces.
The collaborators might be young not just in age but in musical presence, but they have got a song that will intrigue many out there.
