Bolobedu house music ace King Monada links up with pal Mr Six21 DJ Dance for a song titled “Ke Gopotxe Ex Yaka,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, South Africa’s premier music and entertainment hub.
It’s the first collaborative single we’ve heard from the pair this year. In fact, with the release of this song, it is safe to assume, facetiously of course, that Mr Six21 DJ Dance has a thing for kings.
For much of last year and even early 2021, Mr Six21 DJ Dance had worked with another notable voice in South African music, King Salama. The two had released “Mathata Anyaka Bjalwa” and then linked up again (alongside Juizee SA) for “Wedwa.”
It’s 2021 and we have another kingly original. One can’t tell why King Monada and Mr Six21 DJ Dance elected to work on this project, but then there’s no denying they make a great team. You only notice this by listening to them. Your time starts now.
