Memories are forever, said a wise one once. And South African boy band Major League has nothing but fond memories of their pal and compatriot Mpura, who perished in a car crash the other day. And they’re honoring him in a new mix which you can stream here on UbeToo.
“Amapiano Balcony Mix Live In London (Tribute to Mpura)” featured works by the late Mpura. Apparently Major League had asked the songster to send in some numbers, which he did. Sadly he wasn’t alive to see the brothers rock his numbers in London.
At any rate, Bandile and Banele, who make up Major League, beautifully light a candle to Mpura’s memory in their mix in review. Prior to charming London with “Amapiano Balcony Mix Live In London (Tribute to Mpura),” the brothers had commented o Mpura’s work ethic and how he scared them sometimes with his devotion.
Well, Mpura might be gone, but he left a legacy that will outlive him.
