Manu WorldStar – Choko

Manu WorldStar brings y’all a new tune titled “Choko.” It popped on his YouTube channel 9 hours ago.

You may not agree with his flamboyant title of Worldstar, but you can at least concede the muso can sing. In his latest song he brings you an agreeable moment of lyrical abandon. This is “Choko,” man.

If you imagined Manu Worldstar disappeared from the music scene and has only just reappeared, well, you may not be wrong, after all. His disappearance was only so that he can milk his creative spirit. He’s back now, flashing an engaging body of work titled “Molimo.”

The euphony of the title is matched by the sheer musical forces of the works housed in it. It is pretty charming, “Molimo…”

This body of work, which has some fine voices in South African music as guests, houses 12 tracks in all, beginning with “Celebrate” and ending with “Fire Emoji.” The track in review, “Choko,” produced by Sonye, occupies the 5th spot on the tracklist.

It’s a beautiful number, really, and we are sure you are going to like it. We invite you to stream the song below anad join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section.
