Matthew Mole Drops “my soppy favs” EP

Matthew Mole presents a new pop compilation titled “my soppy favs,” which you can stream here on UbeToo, your go-to place for all things South African music.

This body of work popped on Apple Music today 5 February. It houses 5 tracks in all and plays for 19 minutes. In none of the songs did the songster pick a guest artiste. But that’s by the way.

Apparently Mathew Mole is one of those artistes who don’t know how to promote themselves and their works – or simply doesn’t care. There’s no cover art of his latest EP on his (verified) Instagram page – what ought to have been days day (even weeks) prior to the release of the project. I’m here nursing a sense of aggravation because a lack of cover lack slowed down the writing of this post.

“Kilimanjaro,” the lead single in the compilation, takes you to the acme of pop intoxication, which the follow-up track maintains. “Pennsylvania” doesn’t exactly take you to the state in the Mid-Atlantic but you get to experience beautiful musical moments with it – moments that stay with you long after your done listening.

In all, you have in this EP a compilation of numbers you might want to check out.
